Sphagnum capillifolium subsp. capillifolium
Like a very beautiful red cauliflower, tight hummock. There are two subspecies of Sphagnum capillifolium: rubellum and capillifolium. I think this is subsp. capillifolium because capsules are more frequent there than on subsp. rubellum. Glen Clova, September 2017.
